Payment Plan Options

  • Fee Schedule: By default, all students are assumed to be paying out of pocket until we’ve been informed otherwise. You will be required to choose a payment option when signing the Housing License. 

Semester Default Plan:

  • By selecting this option and signing below this selection, the Resident hereby acknowledges that the Resident will pay one-half of the total License Fee each semester which shall be due as follows: 
        1. Fall Semester Payment in the amount of $4,939.50 shall be due on 8/24/2024
        2. Spring Semester Payment in the amount of $5,173.00 shall be due on 1/27/2025.

 

 

Installment Plan:

  • By selecting this option and signing below this selection, the Resident acknowledges that the Resident will pay an installment of 1/9th of the total License Fee in the amount of $9,879.  The first installment will be due the month of move-in.  Payments shall be due on the following dates:

 Financial Aid Agreement:

  • Licensee understands that Harris Hall and Tubman House are authorized to verify all information
    regarding financial aid eligibility/refund disbursement with University Offices and Departments, as
    described in this agreement.
  • Licensee understands that when each rebate is distributed, the Licensee must immediately deposit it
    into their account if they receive a paper check. If the money is directly deposited, resident must submit a
    payment to Capstone Management within 5 business days, or they will be assessed a five percent (5%)
    late fee and additional action may be taken.
  • Licensee understands that if their estimated or final financial aid refund check is less than rent amount
    due, they must pay the differences by the Housing License start date or the balance will be subject to a
    late fee.
  •  Licensee understands that management will defer any late fees until September 21st (fall semester)
    and February 22nd (spring semester) after receiving written documentation of approved financial aid.

 

Payment Information

  • Online payments can be made through the Resident portal: https://bit.ly/HarrisTubmanResPortal or over the phone with a Capstone Staff member. This will include a Bank Draft or Credit Card option. Cards are subject to a 2.5% fee.
  • Guarantors who do not have access to the resident portal may make payments through our Payment portalhttps://bit.ly/HarrisTubmanpay. To submit a payment through the Payment Portal, select Resident and enter the student’s information.

Housing Cancellation

Our cancellation process is now electronic! Residents wishing to petition for release from their Housing License must contact the Management Office via email at HarrisTubman@cocm.com to request the e-sign Housing License Cancellation Request form. Please note that the request may require supporting documentation (see list below). Release from financial responsibility is not automatic and nor is it guaranteed. Please contact our team via email at HarrisTubman@cocm.com if you have any questions.

Required Documentation

  • Student Teaching/Internship/Practicum – Acceptance to the program and its location.
  • Studying Abroad – Acceptance to the program and its location.
  • Medical Withdrawal from Institution– Release letter from the TU Academic Standards Committee.
  • Graduating – Graduation approval notice.
  • Transferring – Acceptance letter from the College/University and Management will pull the TU Registrar’s Enrollment Verification document once add/drop period has concluded for the semester.
  • Academic Withdrawal from Institution – Management will pull the TU Registrar’s Enrollment Verification document once add/drop period has concluded for the semester.
  • Academic/Judicial Dismissal – Your official dismissal letter from the University.

 

*Release as soon as possible: The resident is requesting to petition to be released from the remaining portion of their Housing License. If approved for release, the resident’s existing Housing License will be canceled. They will no longer have a space at Harris Hall & Tubman House for the current academic year. They will be expected to vacate by a specific date identified by Management.

**Release for 2024-2025: The resident is requesting to petition to be released from the 2024-2025 Academic License. If approved for release, the resident’s entire Housing License will be canceled, they will no longer have a space at Harris Hall or Tubman House for the 2024-2025 academic year.
